Let's Try To Keep The Wedding In Perspective...
At ZanyBride, we know how exciting this time can be for you, your family
and friends, but please, let's remember to keep it all in perspective.
Sure, you (or your family and friends) will spend a ton of money trying to
ensure that your wedding day is special, your honeymoon fantastic, and the
gifts all exactly what you wanted. And, quite frankly, we hope you'll
spend some of your wedding budget with us on our fabulous products.
But we would not be responsible citizens of our planet if we did not encourage
you to take a moment to think of the less fortunate among us. Especially
those suffering in developing countries.
We're not saying we're qualified to be anybody's moral compass, nor are we
trying to pass judgement or lay a guilt trip on you, but have you considered setting
aside a portion of your wedding budget for a worthy charity? Or perhaps,
in lieu of toasters, blenders, and silverware, you might encourage your
guests to make a charitable donation in your name to a worthy organization
that depends on volunteer support.
